Founders: Garth and Shanna
Love Creek Sanctuary was founded by Garth and Shanna , two passionate animal advocates with a deep love for all creatures great and small. With over a decade of hands-on experience in animal rescue and welfare, their shared vision for a sanctuary where animals can find healing, peace, and forever homes has become a reality.
Garth, with his quiet strength and natural connection to animals, brings a hands-on approach to animal care. His deep knowledge of animal behavior and his dedication to building a peaceful environment for each animal at the sanctuary makes him the steady backbone of Love Creek.
Shanna, driven by compassion and a strong belief in the power of community, channels her energy into advocacy, education, and the day-to-day operations of the sanctuary. From fundraising and outreach to working directly with the animals, Shanna is the heart of Love Creek, always striving to create a better world for animals in need.
Together, Garth and Shanna’s combined passion, experience, and unwavering commitment to animal welfare continue to shape the sanctuary into the loving haven it is today. It all started with Stu & Petey
Stu and Petey were the first to call Love Creek Sanctuary home, forming the foundation of our mission. Their bond was unbreakable, and their presence made our sanctuary truly special. Soon after, we were joined by Future and Kubota, adding more love and laughter to the mix. And of course, the alpacas followed, bringing their gentle charm to the sanctuary. Each of these animals has shaped Love Creek in their own unique way, making it the haven it is today.
